Dr. Angel M. Cuenca joined IMA Medical Group in 2017 and has served in various leadership and clinical roles, bringing extensive experience in internal medicine, emergency care, and healthcare management.

Dr. Cuenca earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medical Sciences in Holguín, Cuba, later specializing in Internal Medicine and Intensive Care. His dedication to patient care and operational excellence has led him to hold key positions, including Vice President of Clinical Operations and Chief of Internship at Dr. Pila Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

Fluent in English and Spanish, he is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality medical care to diverse patient populations. With a passion for improving healthcare delivery, Dr. Cuenca has expertise in chronic disease management, clinical procedures, and business strategy.
