Dr. Betania Reyes joined IMA Medical Group in 2018 as a primary care physician. She is responsible for patients at the Southwest Orlando clinic, while also assuming the role of Medical Director. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2024. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
Dr. Reyes has over 19 years of experience in the medical field. Before joining IMA, she served as a primary care physician at the Osceola County Health Department. Prior to that role, she spent 8 years as an HIV Specialist, focusing on treating patients with HIV and specializing in Addiction Medicine. Additionally, she provided urgent care services for both pediatric and adult populations in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Betania Reyes was born in Puerto Rico. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico in 2004. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
